A city of parks,
and a habit of
looking closely.

I’m Dragosh — a photographer based in Bucharest, happiest in the middle of a day that is actually happening, and never without a camera when the road leads somewhere else.
Most of my work now is events and the people in them — weddings, christenings, celebrations, the long unglamorous middle of a day where everything actually happens. I don’t direct much. I wait, I stay close, and I photograph the room as it is: the flowers before anyone arrives, the hands, the person who stepped outside for a minute.
The rest is places: Bucharest’s parks and lakes — Herăstrău at dawn, the old bridges of Cișmigiu — and whatever I carry home from further off. Same way of looking either way. I shoot on a Canon R5 and a small Sony, in available light only, and I answer my own email.
