Portrait sessions in Bucharest
Personal portraits, business portraits, pictures for artists — an hour of walking through the city rather than an hour of standing straight in front of a backdrop.

The best portraits never come in the first ten minutes. They come afterwards, once you've forgotten a camera is there and started telling me something. Which is why my sessions look more like a walk than a shoot: we go, we talk, I stop when the light is good.
No studio and no lights — Bucharest has parks, bridges, big windows and evening light enough that nothing needs rigging. Herăstrău at first light, Cișmigiu, a street with trees, or the space you work in if the portrait is for a website or the press.
If you need a portrait for a professional profile, a press kit or a project cover, tell me where it will be used — the framing and the light are chosen differently.

Common questions
- How long is a portrait session?
- Usually one to two hours, depending on how many places we want. The first half hour is for relaxing anyway.
- Where do sessions happen?
- Outdoors in Bucharest — the parks, the lakes, the streets with trees — or in your own workspace if the portrait is for professional use. I don’t work in a studio.
- I don't know how to pose. Is that a problem?
- No, it's the starting point. I don't ask for poses; we walk and talk, and the good frames arrive on their own. Nobody 'knows how to pose' — some people have just been photographed more often.
- Do you make business or press portraits?
- Yes. Tell me where the image gets published and what format you need, so I frame for it from the start.
